ROLE OVERVIEW

The Accounts Receivable Manager at EBIN NEW YORK plays a critical role in overseeing the company’s accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate records. This position involves leading the accounts receivable team, implementing best practices, and working closely with other departments to mitigate risk and enhance cash flow. The manager will also be responsible for developing strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of accounts receivable operations.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

● Team Leadership:
  • Manage and mentor the accounts receivable team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
● Invoicing and Collections:
  • Oversee the generation and issuance of customer invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to reduce overdue accounts and improve cash flow.
● Credit Management:
  • Assess the creditworthiness of customers and establish appropriate credit limits.
  • Monitor customer accounts and analyze trends in receivables.
● Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status, aging reports, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and risk mitigation.
● Collaboration:
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to align accounts receivable processes with overall financial strategies.
● Compliance and Controls:
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● 3 or more years of progressive experience in accounts receivable management or finance roles, is preferred, not required.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make data-driven decisions.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
● Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
