ROLE OVERVIEW
The Market Operations & Localization Coordinator supports EBIN NEW YORK’s business operations in the Korean and Japanese markets. This role is responsible for coordinating customer communications, supporting order and inventory operations, and ensuring accurate localization of product and marketing content. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, culturally fluent, and skilled in cross-functional coordination to ensure operational accuracy, timely fulfillment, and brand consistency across international markets, particularly as the company expands throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Manage and coordinate communications with Korean and Japanese clients, distributors, and importers via email, phone, and other platforms.
● Localize product information, marketing materials, and packaging content into Korean and Japanese in compliance with local regulations, cultural nuances, and brand standards.
● Support and optimize order processing, shipping logistics, and inventory coordination for Korean and Japanese markets.
● Analyze customer inquiries, feedback, and market demands to provide insights for operational and product improvements.
● Collaborate with marketing, sales, supply chain, and product development teams to support international business objectives.
● Assist with projects related to market entry, regulatory compliance, and product launches in Korea and Japan.
● Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the Korean and Japanese markets.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, International Business, or a related field.
● Minimum 2 years of experience in customer communications, operations coordination, or project support.
● Proficiency in Korean and Japanese (written and spoken) preferred; English proficiency is a plus.
● Experience supporting cross-functional teams and coordinating schedules, materials, and vendor communications.
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret customer feedback and market needs.
● Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● Familiarity with international logistics, inventory coordination, and localization best practices for Korean and Japanese markets is a plus.
