ROLE OVERVIEW

The National Retail Sales Operations Manager supports the Director of National Retail Sales in overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales operations. This role involves coordinating various sales processes, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies across regions. The position will collaborate closely with the Marketing, Design, Purchasing-Research & Development, Logistic, Sales Planning, Account Receivable teams, third party
partners and agencies to execute and develop new initiatives that drive revenue.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

● Operational Support: Assist in the development, implementation, and management of sales operations strategies and processes to enhance sales efficiency.
● Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales data, generating reports to identify trends, performance gaps, and areas for improvement.
● Process Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to sales processes, tools, and systems to optimize sales operations and drive productivity.
● Coordination: Coordinate with regional sales teams to ensure alignment and consistency in sales activities and strategies.
● Training and Development: Assist in the training and development of sales personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge.
● Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
● Project Management: Lead and manage specific projects as assigned by the National Sales Operations Manager, ensuring timely and successful completion.
● Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring that all sales operations support the overall goal of enhanced customer satisfaction and loyalty.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    ● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    ● 3 or more years of experience in national sales management, preferably in the beauty, cosmetics, or consumer goods industry, is preferred, not required.
    ● Proven track record of successfully leading a sales team and exceeding revenue targets.
    ● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and metrics.
    ● Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
    ● Proficiency in sales operations software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, sales analytics platforms).
    ● Strong understanding of the retail and distribution landscape.
    ● Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    ● Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    ● Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
    ● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and sales analysis tools (e.g., IRI, Nielsen).
    ● Ability to travel nationally to visit key accounts and attend industry events.
