ROLE OVERVIEW

The Web Design Manager at EBIN NEW YORK will lead and oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the company’s website and digital assets. This role is responsible for ensuring the website is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for both desktop and mobile devices. The Web Design Manager will work closely with the eCommerce, marketing, and design teams to implement best practices in web design, drive site optimization, and enhance the overall user
experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong creative vision, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

● Oversee the design, functionality, and performance of the EBIN NEW YORK website, ensuring alignment with brand identity and eCommerce goals.
● Lead the development and execution of web design projects, from initial concept through completion, including wireframes, mock-ups, and final designs.
● Collaborate closely with eCommerce, marketing, and design teams to create digital assets that support promotions, product launches, and other marketing initiatives.
● Manage the design and maintenance of landing pages, banners, and other website features to optimize user experience and drive conversions.
● Monitor website analytics and performance metrics, identifying opportunities for
improvement and implementing solutions to enhance user engagement and site
functionality.
● Ensure website compatibility across all browsers and devices, optimizing for both desktop and mobile experiences.
● Implement SEO best practices and collaborate with content teams to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
● Manage relationships with external vendors and developers for web development projects and site maintenance as needed.
● Maintain an organized web design process, including proper documentation and archiving of assets.
● Stay up to date with web design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure EBIN NEW YORK’s website remains cutting-edge.
● Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the web design team, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

● Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field preferred.
● 3 or more years of experience in web design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, is preferred, not required.
● Proven expertise in web development tools such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and content management systems (CMS) like Shopify or WordPress.
● Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD).
● Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, with the ability to design user-friendly interfaces.
● Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
● Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
● Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally with marketing, design, and development teams.
● Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing, high-performance websites.
● Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and continuously learn new design
technologies and trends.
